FALL SEASON: Boys & Girls 4 to 17 - no experience required! Season starts the weekend after Labor Day and ends the weekend either right before or after Thanksgiving.

WHO CAN PLAY?Registration is open to all boys and girls (no experience necessary!) between 4 and 17. Child must be 4 by July 31, 2007
WHAT DO I NEED TO REGISTER?
Copy of birth certificate required for all new players. Check or cash accepted at in-person registrations. Online, it helps to know we are AYSO Region #1328
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
$70 / player for EARLY REGISTRATION BY JUNE 30TH
$10 sibling discount
$90 / player AFTER JUNE 30TH

If you're looking for a competitive league that will put your kid on a fast-track to the U.S. National Team, this isn't the right place for you.

WHAT'S THE SUMMER SKILLS CLINIC?
For seven years, we have hosted a week-long soccer skills clinic for kids in McCarren Park. USA Soccer Academy, a renowned soccer training organization brings top young coaches, primarily from the UK, to give our kids an immersion in the basic skills of the game and quirky English humor.
WHEN AND WHERE IS THE SOCCER SKILLS CLINIC?
July 16th-20th, McCarren Park
Ages 4-7: 8am - 11am
Ages 8-12: 8am - 3pm
HOW MUCH DOES THE SKILLS CLINIC COST?
Ages 4-7 (half-day): $120.00
Ages 8-12 (full day): $165.00

Gear up for the 9th
season of Greenpoint Williamsburg Youth Soccer League.
Here's the skinny on GWYSL:
What is GWYSL?
It's a soccer league for boys and girls in the Greenpoint/Williamsburg area
ages 4 – 17.
The League is all-volunteer, non-profit.
Fall Season: (registration in June) Saturdays: September
– December
Winter (indoor): (reg. in November) Saturdays: January
– March
Summer: (reg. in June) 1 week day camp usually in 3rd week
of July
Where: Fall Season games are in McCarren Park, Greenpoint/Williamsburg
Brooklyn. Winter games are played in school gyms in Greenpoint/Williamsburg.
Why: Because soccer is the only real sport.
Summer day camp is in McCarren Park.

Fees: Vary, depending on the season and expenses. Scholarships

Philosophy: We are an American Youth Soccer Organization
league (AYSO Region #1328) which means we are committed to giving every
kid on every team a fun, safe and fair sports experience. If you’re
interested in a competitive league with professional coaching, you should
look elsewhere.
PARENTS: 3 Things You Can Do To Help Your Kids Have More Fun this Saturday
1. Show up at least 30 minutes before games so your coach can work with
the team
2. Help pick up / take down the goals. Goals and cones are stored in blue freight container at the southwest corner of the track.
3. Positive encouragement is all that's needed from the sidelines. Let the
coach do the coaching. Too many instructions from the sidelines just
confuses and stresses the kids playing.
